La Jolla Area

Beautiful beaches, upscale downtown shopping, and close to the UCSD campus. La Jolla is a great place to live, but it can be very expensive on a student's budget.

There are several multi-unit apartment buildings in La Jolla, and scores of private homes and codominiums that are available for rental.

If you've got your heart set on living here, your best bet is to bunk up... find a roommate to split the costs with for an apartment, or get a group together to rent a house.

Rental Rates
A 2 bedroom apartment/condo rental in the downtown La Jolla area can range anywhere from $2500 - $4000 per month, with 1 bedrooms going around $1000 per month.

Properties
None listed, mostly privately-owned condos and homes.
