University City

A little father out than UTC or La Jolla, University City offers a good balance of distance and cost for apartment and house rentals.

Prices tend to be slightly lower than in the nearby UTC area, and the distance tradeoff is not that huge.  University City has excellent connections to the public bus lines, and abundant shopping and commercial sites.

Some students electing to live in University City rent homes.  Many 3 and 4 bedroom ranch style homes are rented out on the school-year schedule, and with 1 or 2 students per bedroom, they are an economical choice.
