Helping San Diego area students
find a place to live since 1998
University Town Center (UTC) Area
Close to campus,
stores, and recreation, UTC is
a popular place for students heading off the UCSD campus for the first
time.
Rents in the UTC
area tend to be lower than in nearby La Jolla, and the area is somewhat better
served by public transportation than La Jolla.
Most of the
available units are in multi-story apartment buildings, and
range from studio apartments to 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. Many of the
buildings are modern, or have been renovated within the past few years.
Rental rates can
range from $2000 per month for a 2 bedroom apartment
to $1000 for a 1 bedroom. Studio apartments are only slightly cheaper,
most in the $900 range. |
